These delicious cookies made by my children are a must try & have been the perfect way to kick off the Easter holidays. They are so easy to make and we had a lot of fun baking together.
Ingredients:
1 medium egg
100g Butter (softened)
200g Self Raising Flour
100g Caster sugar
Bag of mini eggs
Start by preheating the oven to 180•c and then line a baking tray with baking paper.
Mix all of the ingredients together in a large bowl, making up into a dough. Leave to one side.
Place the mini eggs in a freezer bag and gently smash them up with a rolling pin.
Form the dough into a large Pattie and divide into 8 equal pieces.
Mix some smashed mini eggs into each ball and shape into biscuits.
Place onto a baking sheet and repeat until all of the cookies are made.
Pop them in the oven for 7-10 minutes until golden.
Once baked, remove and place on a wire rack to cool down.
Once cooled, enjoy!! These are a real tasty treat and definitely got the thumbs up!
